We learned from these examples from sales managers at Lexus dealerships in South Florida- One dealer said that with the car being somewhat new and it already having a bad Carfax he would not be able to offer full amount, unfortunately this is a pretty significant amount of damage and would normally take a minimum of 30% and could be much more. Another dealer explained that the car could lose 35% and go as high as 50% of its trade-in value depending on dealer, the Carfax and what is listed on it and normally with this amount of damage on top of frame damage you may be looking at that higher amount.
